Vintage Superhero Birthday Party Collection.... Calling all Superheroes!

The Advengers superhero movie was released on Friday so I thought I would share my Vintage Superhero collection I created a couple months ago. Our Superhero collection has a Vintage comic feel, while still being retro and modern, inspired my the very talented Roy Lichtenstein. His style was the perfect balance between Vintage, Modern and Retro, so we wanted to keep thing simple with thick black & white boarders and polka dots. All of the printables you see here are available in Wants and Wishes Etsy shop
For the backdrop I wanted it to look like an explosion.... a "sweets explosion" was happening.
For the backdrop we use a large polka dot print in orange to make it a little bit more fun instead of using the traditional red, blue and yellow color schemes. We placed our large conversation bubble: "Calling all Superheroes: there's been a SWEETS EXPLOSION.... Help us eat them before it's too late! Then our smaller explosion/ crash signs with Zap, pow, boom, birthday boys name and age with white clouds and lightening bolts to create an explosion.
Sweets:The sweets we choose to create the sweets explosion were confetti filled cupcakes, "pop"corn, large swirly lollipops, "Super" Crunch bars wrapped with our candy wrappers and favors filled with colorful delights to give energy back to our Superheroes. For refueling we had mini HERRO H20 water bottles and antidote to Kryptonite drinks.

Our smaller explosions/ crash signs (fit on a 11x17 piece of paper) with Zap, Pow, Boom, name and age with white colloids, lightening bolts to create an explosion.

The Superhero sweets that caused the "sweets explosion" at our Superhero Birthday party!

In our Vintage Superhero Birthday party collection are candy bar wrappers with mini explosions and 2  Super CRUNCH bar designs. We filled little tin buckets (we found them at Target in the dollar bins!)

For refueling we had mini Hero H20 water bottles and an antidote to Kryptonite drinks.

We had large favor toppers filled with chiclets, M& M's or glum balls would work great too!

We also had cupcakes with our cupcake wrappers and half with our cupcake toppers.

Our cupcake toppers/ party circles come in 2 sizes 2.5" circles and 2" square tags

We used our 2" toppers as tags attached to our extra large swirled suckers!

We had white bags filled with popcorn with our "pop" tag! You can also use these on soda pop or pop rocks
